Manage your own land
If you prefer to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself, our Bushcare Workshop is a great starting point. These workshops are typically held twice a month and are designed to increase your skills and knowledge of bush restoration.
The workshop includes:
- Overview of our native vegetation and basic ecology
- Bush regeneration principles, strategies and methods for improving bushland health
- Minimum disturbance bush regeneration techniques
- Working safely in the bush
- Field trip (1-2 hours) to try your hand at bush regeneration
Format: 9.30am – 4.30pm classroom session + field trip
Cost: Free for Trees For Life members, $230 for non-members
This workshop is also the first step for new volunteers in our Bush For Life Program. After the workshop, you will have the opportunity to adopt a bushcare site of your own or join one of our group activities. See Bushcare workshop dates here.
