Threatened Species Day - Bush Action Team

Join us on a Bush Action Team in the nationally threatened Grey Box Grassy Woodland at Blackwood on Threatened Species Day, 7 September from 9am to 3.30pm.

Come and try bushcare while learning about local native plants and animals, including the Yellow-tailed black cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus funereus), Golden whistler (Pachycephala pectoralis), Suburb Fairy-wren (Malurus cyaneus) and native orchid species.

Grey Box (Eucalyptus microcarpa) Grassy Woodland is an endangered ecological community  and in SA occupies less than 3% of the area it once did before European settlement.

Come along and help Trees For Life protect this important bushland which is so precious to our state’s biodiversity.
