Protect my Vegetation

Whether you take a DIY approach or need more extensive onsite services, Trees For Life can help you care for your land.

Manage your own land

If you prefer to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself, our Bushcare Workshop is a great starting point. These workshops are typically held twice a month and are designed to increase your skills and knowledge of bush restoration.

The workshop includes:

  • Overview of our native vegetation and basic ecology
  • Bush regeneration principles, strategies and methods for improving bushland health
  • Minimum disturbance bush regeneration techniques
  • Working safely in the bush
  • Field trip (1-2 hours) to try your hand at bush regeneration

Format: 9.30am – 4.30pm classroom session + field trip
Cost: Free for Trees For Life members, $230 for non-members

This workshop is also the first step for new volunteers in our Bush For Life Program. After the workshop, you will have the opportunity to adopt a bushcare site of your own or join one of our group activities. See Bushcare workshop dates here.
